As the present accommodation of girl students is insufficient, the present body, plans to construct a few more rooms to the present hostel building.
Smt. Vanadana Moharil, Superintendent is in-charge of hostel.
We are also proud of the fact that Seva Sadan has started a new primary school having Nursery, K.G-I, K.G-II primary I and II standard at Manish Nagar locality,
Nagpur during the year 2001 - 2002. The Education Department, Nagpur Zilla Parishad, permitted to start this branch on non-grant basis.
The Nagpur University, Nagpur permitted the society to start "Bal Sevika Prashikshan Kendra" from 1st July 1999 under the supervision of Smt. Chitralekha Adewar,
Head Mistress, Seva Sadan High School.
Now-a-days, computer education is a must for all school going girls. Primary facilities are made for this course. But purchase of latest computers remained to be
done for want of funds.
We proudly mention that Smt. Dr. Kusum Wankhar has donated Rs. Five Lakhs for constructing the open air theatre stage in the year 2006, the flooring which could
not be constructed of the stage was constructed and completed the flooring of cement concrete in the year 2007 and the amount for construction was donated by Dr. Manisha Yamsanwar,
an eminent doctor, as well as Mrs. Vandana Moharil our teacher has donated Rs. One Lakh Ten Thousand only. In memory of her brother Late MR. Anil Moharil an eminent press reporter.
We have provision of Canteen "Vividha Vastu Bhandar", New machine of Xerox is purchased for the benefit of students as well as we have "Bhau-Bij" fund. The most important activity
of the year 2006 is installation of the statue of the founder member of the Pune Sevasadan society Late Mr. G.R. Gokhale donated by Smt. Nima Gaharwar our principal yashodabai Khare

A library has been started from Sept. 96 and part time librarian is appointed. Shri Ashutosh Shewalkar, Builders and promoters has donated so far Rs. 40,000/-
to the library. Hence the library is named in the memory of Late Shri Bhausaheb Shewalkar Library. A Number of books are required to be purchased for the benefit of poor and
backward class students.
All the aforesaid activities require monetary help form charitable institutions and other donors for which we required under section 80G(5) (vi) of Income Tax
Dept. for exempting Income Tax on donations given to this society by the donors. |
